形態特徵

Large climbers, branches slender, glabrous.
Leaves elliptic to obovate-oblong, 3–7 cm long, 1.5–3.5 cm wide, apex short caudate, base attenuate, margins entire, more or less lustrous above, glaucous below, lateral veins 6 pairs, green above, red below, petiole 7–17 mm long, reddish.
Flowers small, pink, in large open terminal panicle; calyx pubescent, 1–1.5 mm long; corolla tube 3–4 mm long, broadly campanulate, lobes wide, obtuse, shorter than tube; disc annular, entire; ovary pubescent; style dilated above.
Follicles divaricate or horizontally spreading, 10–14 cm long, 0.3–0.8 cm in diam., apex acute; seeds pubescent.
This species is characterized by its reddish petioles and veins on the lower leaf surface, and by its delicate veins.

分布

台灣 : scattered in forests at low altitudes throughout the island.
世界 : Java, Sumatra to southern China.
